Model selector
The models in each group of the model picker as last checked against the product, with the picker itself named as the live source because Emerge.ai reconfigures the list over time.
The models below are what each group of the model picker held when this page was last checked against the product. Groups are the stable part; the models inside them are not.
Emerge.ai changes what is in the picker over time. The groups are stable; the models below are current examples. The picker in the product is the live source, so check there.
Data verified 2026-08-13.
A model added since that date will not be here, and a model retired since then may still be listed. Releases change the picker between checks of this page; the release notes announce what was added.

Emerge Private Hosted
Models Emerge.ai hosts itself rather than sending your request to an outside provider.

| Nemotron Cascade 2 |
Why you might choose this group, and how it relates to Lockdown Mode, is covered in Models & Auto-Selector.
Emerge Fast & Free
The free model chat continues on once you reach a usage limit.

| Qwen 3.5-9b |
This group is what keeps your work going when you reach a usage limit — see Plans, Tokens & Billing for what happens at a cap. It is a group of its own, separate from Emerge Private Hosted.
Three things decide what you actually see
A model can be in the list above and still not be available to you:
- Your plan. Models outside your plan appear in the picker marked unavailable. Plans, Tokens & Billing covers what each plan includes.
- Your administrator. A Cloud Administrator, a Cloud Architect, or the Cloud Owner can hide models for a whole Cloud from Cloud Settings → AI Models, and a hidden model disappears from the picker entirely.
- Lockdown Mode. It allows its own set of models, which Emerge.ai configures — see Lockdown Mode.
- Which models you can download to a phone. Those are listed under downloadable models on mobile.
Between them, those four are also the reasons a model listed here may not be in your own picker. Models & Auto-Selector works through each one.
