Emerge.ai can now make images for you right in the chat, and answers come back faster with the tools and reasoning behind them shown alongside. Web search results arrive as a card you can open and click through. Plus a way back in when you forget your password, account deletion you step through yourself, handing a Cloud to a new owner, Lockdown Mode V2 for a whole Cloud or just for you, projects that expand in the sidebar to show their chats, and a round of fixes.

Faster answers, with more in them

Answers arrive quicker and more dependably: Replies from Emerge.ai come through faster and hold up better while they're being written
See more than just the answer: A single reply can carry text, the tools that were used, the reasoning behind it, and any errors
Group chats keep up: Replies come through cleanly when several people share the same chat

AI image generation (New Feature)

Ask for a picture and get one: Images appear in the conversation itself, in whichever shape suits — 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, or 3:4
See what you asked for while you wait: While an image is being made, the wait shows the prompt it's working from
Told plainly when it doesn't work: If an image can't be generated, the chat says so clearly
Open any image full size: Click a generated image to see it in the full file preview

Web search you can see (New Feature)

See what was searched and what came back: A card in the chat shows the search that ran, how many results it found, and each result with its site icon — and folds away when you're done with it
Know when a search is running: The card shows you it's still looking
Go straight to the source: Every result names the site it came from and opens it when you click

Forgot password (New Feature)

Get back in without your old password: Enter your email on the forgot password page, and a link arrives that lets you set a new one
No typing your email twice: If you'd already entered your email when you click "Forgot Password?" in the login modal, it's carried across for you
The reset link doesn't last forever: The link in the email works for a limited time

Delete account (New Feature)

Three steps, so you know what you're giving up: The first lists everything that goes — Clouds, member data, shared content, billing, sign-in, and personal data. The second shows the Clouds you own, how many members each has, and links to hand them over. The third asks you to type "delete account" to confirm
An unpaid balance comes first: If there's still a balance outstanding, you're taken to cancel your subscription before the account can go
A moment before you're sent on: Once the account is deleted, a countdown runs and then takes you to the homepage

Transfer Cloud ownership (New Feature)

Hand your Cloud to someone else: Pick a new owner from the Cloud's members and choose their new permission profile
Reach it from where you already are: Transfer is available from the manage members page, from deleting your account, and by a direct link from other pages

Project tagging (New Feature)

Tag your projects: Add tags to a project to keep your projects sorted

Edit chat name (New Feature)

Rename a chat where it sits: Edit a chat's name directly, right where you see it
A chat can't be left nameless: A blank name won't save

Lockdown Mode V2 (New Feature)

Lock down a whole Cloud, or just yourself: Lockdown for the entire Cloud is set by an administrator; lockdown for your own account is yours to choose
See who turned it on, and when: The lockdown status tells you who activated it and at what time
All the settings in one place: Lockdown has a settings page of its own, with the toggle and everything you can set
Only the right people can change it: Managing lockdown for a Cloud is limited to a Cloud Administrator or Cloud Owner

Personal Cloud improvements

Told when you don't have a personal Cloud: A note on the Cloud selection page lets you know
Make one with a single button: One button creates your personal Cloud, and tells you whether it worked

Template picker (New Feature)

Start a chat from a template: Choose from your project templates when you create a new chat
Templates you can tell apart: Each one shows an icon that suits it
The template's instructions come with it: A new chat starts with its template's instructions already applied
Settings open for a new chat too: The chat settings drawer opens for new chats as well as ones you already have

Subscription & trial updates

Try a paid plan first: A trial period is available on paid subscriptions
Open a Cloud straight from your subscription: Clouds launch directly from the Subscription Clouds section
See every subscription you can be part of: A picker lists each one with the owner's name, the product name, the role, and how many Clouds it holds

See a project's chats without leaving the sidebar: Projects expand and collapse to show the chats inside them
Pinned chats sit at the top: Archived ones stay out of the list
Long lists fold away: A project with more than 5 chats gets a Show more / Show less toggle
Handle a chat where you see it: Archive, pin, delete, and settings are all there in the sidebar

Theme toggle redesign

Choose Light, Dark, or System: The old dark and light switch is now a three-way control
An icon for each: Sun, Moon, and Monitor mark the three choices, and the control is accessible

Copy code with a click

Click any code to copy it: Code inside a line and full code blocks both copy when you click them
See that it copied: Hovering shows a copy icon, and a green check flashes once the code is copied

Chat improvements

A typed-out address is a link: A web address written as plain text becomes clickable
Errors show where they happened: A problem appears inside the message itself, with a button to try again
More than one way to retry: A retry button of its own opens the options for trying again
A new default model: New chats start on Gemini 3 Flash instead of Gemini 2.5 Flash

On a phone

Emerge.ai fits a small screen better: The chat toolbar lays out properly, message bubbles are sized for a phone, the Cloud switcher drawer is easier to use, and what wasn't needed on mobile is gone

Sign-up checks your details first: Registering no longer fails without checking what you entered
Getting back to sign-up works: Going back to the registration screen behaves properly

Upload JSON files: JSON is among the file types you can upload
Voice recording is steadier: Recording your voice is more reliable
